• Water Dispersancy

Water can build up in fuel oil tanks from condensation causing rust and sludge within the fuel system. ThermoGuard holds a controlled amount of water in suspension and prevents a build up of water bottoms.

• Defoamer

Fuel foaming can slow delivery times, cause short deliveries and fuel spills. ThermoGuard contains defoamer to help improve delivery times and allows more gallons per fill. This saves drivers time, reduces delivery costs and helps to prevent spills.

• Fuel Stabilization and Dispersancy

Fuel Stabilization and Dispersancy Fuel oil can become unstable in a very short period of time, usually less than six months. Insolubles (particles) and sediment can combine with water to form sludge. Sludge can plug filters, nozzles and screens shutting fuel systems down.

ThermoGuard with antigel/deicer contains the industry's most effective cold flow improvers and wax antisettling agent to significantly reduce fuel pour point and cold filter plug point. Jet fuel deicer prevents icing to as low as -50°F to prevent frozen fuel lines and filters.

The above chart represents fuel related service calls to high frequency service call customers in the study. Each customer in the test group averaged 3.1 fuel related service calls per year with untreated fuel. Average fuel related service calls for these same customers decreased to an average of .29 service calls per year when using ThermoGuard treated fuel for the test period. This represents a 90% reduction in service calls!
